Business Development Manager

Ames Janitorial Services is a 2nd generational family business providing exceptional cleaning services to the Central Pennsylvania area since 1987. A medium sized business that prides itself on its relationships with its customers and employees

Ames Janitorial Services is hiring a Business Development Manager to identify new business opportunities throughout the state of Pennsylvania and surrounding states. This new role will be responsible for new business development for the commercial cleaning division.

Primary responsibilities include:

In partnership with the CEO, set goals, develop and implementation of strategic marketing plans, sales plans and forecasts to achieve corporate objectives

Prospect through innovative lead generation tools and leverage existing advanced and dedicated social media opportunities

Research, plan and implement new target market initiatives

Perpetuate and amplify a professional local brand to enhance the company brand to attract a following of targeted connections and relationships

Identify and recognize the unique buyer in the buying process map to leverage and nurture connections to productive relationships

Establish relationships with potential clients to distinguish Ames Janitorial Services from the current provider and deliver tailored solutions professionally and effectively

Execute marketing plans through cold calling, networking and leveraging internal and external referrals

Monitors competitor products, sales and marketing activities

Recognize customer needs to accurately offer them our value proposition

Establish and maintain relationships with industry influencers and key strategic partners

Meet with key clients and maintain relationships in negotiating and closing deals

Represents the company at trade association meetings to promote services

Prepares periodic sales report showing sales volume, potential sales and areas of proposed client based expansion

Review and analyze sales performances against programs, quotes and plans to determine effectiveness

Required skills and experience:

Superior interpersonal and communication skill as well as solid writing skills

Dedication to high quality customer service delivery and integrity through proven client and customer relationships

Proficient in web-based applications and programs to effectively edit and create reports, database entries and presentation materials

Strong organizational skills with demonstrated ability to strategically plan sales calls, sales presentations and cold calling

Highly effective leader with the ability to build strong relationships internally with all levels of the organization and manage under difficult service timeframes

Sales training on strategic consultative selling techniques

Ability to travel throughout all areas of the service territory

Compensation and benefits:

Pay: $45,000.00 - $50,000.00 base salary + auto allowance + gas card + commission plan + bonus plan

Paid holidays and 1 weeks vacation to start; 2 weeks after 3 years of service

We are looking to hire a Full Time night cleaning Supervisor in Annville area and the surrounding counties to ensure that janitorial duties are completed as required by all associates supervised

Job Description

17 per hour based on experience

Start time after 5pm with a minimum 7 hours a night 5 nights a week

Complete Nightly Audits at all locations in area

Insure all Locations have supplies needed

Be a backfill for any associate that is not able to work any given shift

Past new business growth experience a plus

MUST have valid DL and Clean background

Must have at least 3 years hands on Janitorial supervisor experience of at least 10 employees

Use of Company car

Summary

This position we are taking applications for both PT or FT Floaters

Responsibilities

Perform routine cleaning and maintenance tasks to ensure a clean environment.

Assist with custodial duties in commercial settings.

Support facilities maintenance efforts through general upkeep and repairs.

Execute industrial cleaning tasks following safety protocols.

Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report shortages to management.

Qualifications

Proven experience in janitorial or custodial services is preferred.

Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining cleanliness standards.

Ability to perform physical tasks associated with cleaning and maintenance work.

Familiarity with floor care techniques and equipment is essential.

Basic knowledge of facilities maintenance practices is a plus.

Experience in residential painting or similar tasks is beneficial but not required.

Monday - Friday 8:30am to 4pm

$16 per hour

We are seeking a dedicated Lead Kitchen Supervisor to join our team at Ames Janitorial Services. In this role, you will oversee the cleaning and maintenance operations, ensuring a clean and safe environment for our clients. Your leadership will be key in maintaining our high standards of service.

Hours: Mon-Fri 6:30am to 1pm

Pay Rate: $23 per hour

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate daily cleaning operations for various facilities.

Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed to the highest standards.

Train and mentor custodial staff on best practices and safety procedures.

Conduct regular inspections to maintain cleanliness and organization.

Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment.

Develop schedules for custodial staff to ensure adequate coverage.

Address any client concerns or requests promptly and professionally.

Requirements

Proven experience in custodial or facilities maintenance roles in a supervisory capacity.

Strong knowledge of commercial cleaning techniques and equipment.

Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

Good communication skills to interact with staff and clients.

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Clean all bathroom and shower surfaces throughout the complex

Collect and empty trash throughout complex

Sweep and mop floors of all walking areas

Vacuum carpets, steps, and mats

Pick up loose trash on all surfaces of complex

Attend to all spills in a timely manner to maintain safety

Use variety of chemicals to sanitize surfaces of the complex

All other duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications

18 years of age or older

Valid Driver’s License with good driving record

Dependable transportation to and from work

Language skills: Fluent knowledge of the English language; including the ability to read and interpret written information and speak and understand verbal communication

Ability to fulfill the physical requirements of the position with any reasonable accommodations as necessary

Authorized to work in the United States
