      Business Development Manager


      Ames Janitorial Services is a 2nd generational family business providing exceptional cleaning services to the Central Pennsylvania area since 1987. A medium sized business that prides itself on its relationships with its customers and employees


      Ames Janitorial Services is hiring a Business Development Manager to identify new business opportunities throughout the state of Pennsylvania and surrounding states. This new role will be responsible for new business development for the commercial cleaning division.


      Compensation and benefits:


      Pay: $60k base salary + commission plan + bonus plan

      Auto allowance + fuel card

      Primary responsibilities include:


      Set goals, development and implementation of strategic marketing plans, sales plans and forecasts to achieve corporate objectives

      Prospect through innovative lead generation tools and leverage existing advanced and dedicated social media opportunities

      Research, plan and implement new target market initiatives

      Perpetuate and amplify a professional local brand to enhance the company brand to attract a following of targeted connections and relationships

      Identify and recognize the unique buyer in the buying process map to leverage and nurture connections to productive relationships

      Establish relationships with potential clients to distinguish Ames Janitorial Services from the current provider and deliver tailored solutions professionally and effectively

      Execute marketing plans through cold calling, networking and leveraging internal and external referrals

      Monitors competitor products, sales and marketing activities

      Recognize customer needs to accurately offer them our value proposition

      Establish and maintain relationships with industry influencers and key strategic partners

      Meet with key clients and maintain relationships in negotiating and closing deals

      Represents the company at trade association meetings to promote services

      Prepares periodic sales report showing sales volume, potential sales and areas of proposed client based expansion

      Review and analyze sales performances against programs, quotes and plans to determine effectiveness

      Required skills and experience:


      Superior interpersonal and communication skill as well as solid writing skills

      Dedication to high quality customer service delivery and integrity through proven client and customer relationships

      Proficient in web-based applications and programs to effectively edit and create reports, database entries and presentation materials

      Strong organizational skills with demonstrated ability to strategically plan sales calls, sales presentations and cold calling

      Highly effective leader with the ability to build strong relationships internally with all levels of the organization and manage under difficult service timeframes

      Sales training on strategic consultative selling techniques

      Ability to travel throughout all areas of the service territory

    • Annville- Full Time Residential Cleaner add

      Monday - Friday 8am to 4pm

            We are seeking an Accounting Assistant to join our team at Ames . In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting our accounting operations, contributing to the overall success of Ames Janitorial Services.

            Responsibilities


            Customer Invoicing.

            Vendor payables

            Bi Weekly Payroll

            Collection of past due receivable accounts.

            Maintaining customer sales tax files.

            Preparing invoice correction documents as required.

            Posting customer payments

            Matching of accounts payable invoices/receipts.

            Vendor invoice entry.

            Monthly account reconciliations

            Qualifications

            Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred.

            Strong understanding of accounting principles.

            Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks or similar.

            Proficiency in data entry and financial reporting.

            Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

            Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

            Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
